PAS GRAU INTERNACIONAL (PGI)

Pas Grau Internacional, as the consulting and operations division of the SAETDE group with over 60 years of experience in Andorra, stands out for its key role in the development of the Grandvalira ski domain. Specialized in consulting and operations for tourist destinations and mountain resorts, both in winter and summer, the company recognizes the importance of balancing economic development with environmental conservation.

The mission of Pas Grau Internacional is to contribute to the sustainable development of tourist destinations and mountain resorts, with a strong commitment to respecting the natural and cultural heritage. Since 2020, they have collaborated with the Comú d'Ordino in Tourist Dynamization of the Parish, creating the Tourist Dynamization Plan 2020-2025 and actively participating in Dynamization Meetings. Pas Grau Internacional fully supports Ordino as a Biosphere Reserve and is committed to continuing to contribute to the sustainable development of the parish, aiming to be part of the Best Tourism Villages recognized by the World Tourism Organization.

PGI is a company committed to the Ordino Biosphere Reserve since August 13, 2023. The Comú d'Ordino has awarded them this recognition for their actions and values towards the Biosphere Reserve, citizens, and tourists, as well as their future commitments.

• Commitment 5: Social Policies

At PGI, one of the priorities is to offer fair working conditions, promote gender equality, facilitate telecommuting, and allow family reconciliation.

• Commitment 8: Customer Involvement

PGI is a committed defender of the sustainable development principles specified and adopted by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in 2013. We also follow the 17 Sustainable Development Goals that are part of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda. Our professional opinion is that total commitment to sustainability is the only way for the tourism sector to evolve in the coming years. In all projects, we always incorporate the sustainable aspect and share it with our clients to prioritize sustainability. We encourage environmental awareness, educate and raise awareness among our clients about the importance of sustainability, encourage them to take positive actions, such as participating in environmental cleanup activities, tree planting, as seen on June 5, 2023, at Andorra's ski resorts.

• Commitment 10: Continuous Improvement and Training

At PGI, we are always learning to improve and expand our knowledge. We participate in courses offered by the tourism platform, which provides various courses oriented toward a more sustainable vision, and we consistently follow these training opportunities. We have also participated in the training of Informers of the Ordino Biosphere Reserve. We experiment and learn from practice, applying the knowledge gained in our daily lives. We try different ways to reduce our environmental impact and observe the results. We are open to learning from our experiences and adjusting our actions as we acquire more knowledge and discover better sustainable alternatives.
