This activity will help us understand what invasive alien species are and the problems they cause. We’ll focus on one of the most common invasive species in Andorra: Cape ragwort (Senecio inaequidens). We’ll explain the studies carried out in the country and finish with a hands-on session to apply the removal methodology: we’ll head to a nearby spot to pull up senecio and contribute to its elimination.
