Andorra will host the first FIS Freeride World Championships, taking place from 1 to 6 February 2026 at the Ordino Arcalís resort.

This event will mark a historic moment for the sport, as it will be the first time freeride celebrates World Championships under the umbrella of the International Ski Federation (FIS).

For more than ten years, Andorra has been a benchmark destination for freeride, and hosting the World Championships will consolidate its position as the global epicentre of this discipline. The event will not only bring together the world’s best freeriders, but will also take the sport to new heights, offering an unprecedented platform for freeride skiing and snowboarding.
