Between December 8 and 11, Ordino, which is a Biosphere Reserve since 2020, celebrates the traditional Christmas Fair, becoming the whole town an authentic Christmas market in the most Tyrolean style.

Various curiosities make this market a very special place. First, its location, in the town center distributed between two squares and along the main street. The main square where an imposing tree stands out dressed in the best Christmas garlands, and the Plaça de la Closa with wooden huts that offer visitors different gastronomic products typical of these festivities such as foie gras, cava, cheeses, nougat, panettones and a space where you can taste a good cup of hot chocolate, mulled wine or a freshly made pancake. On the main street we also find wooden huts with a wide range of handmade and very Christmas products that fill us with a very festive atmosphere.

The second curiosity is that there is a program of activities for all audiences that unfold day after day, with carols sung by choirs and local groups, concerts at the National Auditorium, research of the Tió de Nadal, a representation of the Bear in the open air, a theater made with holograms, itinerant children shows, talks and workshops suitable for the whole family.

And the third, are the balls to decorate the Christmas trees that will be sold at the tourist office (Casa de la Muntanya), that every year a new one is created and collectors rush to get them .
