Spectacular views of the Vall de Sorteny Natural Park and Ordino Valley
On this itinerary, we will see the “Estripagec” metal sculptures, a sculptural series made up of five great totem poles which are part of Andorra’s architectural heritage, the Botanical Gardens where we can observe around 300 species of flora classified by habitat, and the Borda de Sorteny, an old refuge that has been renovated, extended and is now a place with great comfort. We will climb up to the Mirador del Grau de la Llosa, a perfect lookout point of unquestionable beauty located about 250 m from the Planell del Quer, at an altitude of 2,035 m. Here we can enjoy unmatched panoramic views over the Ordino Valley, a moment of tranquillity to connect with nature, listen to the songbirds such as the European Crested Tit, the Cole Tit, the Dunnock, the Little Wren or the Iberian Green Woodpecker and admire the flight of the majestic Golden Eagle or the Short-Toed Eagle.
We return along the Rialb Valley.
