One of the most emblematic museums in the country
This manor house dates from the 17th century, but most of the building dates from the mid-19th century, a time of economic abundance for the family, thanks to the figure of Guillem d'Areny-Plandolit, Baron of Senaller and Gramenet. The General Syndic of the valleys of Andorra and promoter of the New Reform of 1866, he was one of the owners of the Andorran forges, an important industry until the 19th century, when it was displaced with the emergence of the blast furnace.
Highlights include the furniture and belongings that are a faithful reflection of this family’s way of life and social status.
You can also visit the d’Areny-Plandolit House Museum with the Andorra PassMuseu: the cost of the pass is €2.5 and entitles you Museums 50% discount on the price of admission at 3 museums of your choice out of the existing sites.
You can enjoy Don Guillem's dream. A magical experience with holograms that makes us relive the history of the country.
