You will enter the mine along a 30 m long route packed with history.
The Llorts iron mine allows us to discover steel works from the early 17th century to the late 19th century, when it was one of the most important economic activities in the Principality.
This mine, along with others, supplied the Ordino forges, although it was only open for four years due to the small amount of iron ore found here, thus making it unprofitable.
If you want to know more about the history of Andorra, you can take the Iron Route and also visit the Rossell forge.
