We start the route in Ordino, in front of the town hall, and we do the first 500 m by road, until the Sornàs roundabout. Here we take the medieval high road from Riberamunt to Arans. In the village we cross the river and the road, and start the ascent to the Coll de Cases pass, always along a steady upward path, following the GR until Coll de Cases, where we turn left following the signs and the yellow dots, starting a very fun ridge section, which always passes between the trees, taking us to Coll de Jou. At the pass we will find a signpost and on the left we will start a fast, technical descent to Ansalonga, where we will have to watch out for the roots and the steep slope. We reach the road and go back a few metres until we cross the river at the entrance of the village. We will do the initial section in reverse and reach the starting point by road again.
