Blue Lake, located in France, has access from the Rialb Valley in Ordino.
To reach the starting point, take the CG-3 road towards Ordino-Arcalís, until km 18. In a few metres, we take the CS-370 road to the car park of the Vall de Sorteny Natural Park.
We take the Rialb valley path towards the refuge and pass by the Font Freda. In this place, the route becomes much easier going, and we follow the very well indicated path, where on the right-hand side, before reaching the refuge, we cross the metal bridge and then a second wooden bridge.

We have better and better views of the valley on our way to the Siguer and Banyell passes.
We always follow the wooden signs indicating the direction of the Siguer Pass.
We arrive at Siguer Pass, on the French border. Here we find a stone monolith. We head down to Blue Lake.
We return the same way.
