Redort – Coll d'Ordino Itinerary

This low-difficulty itinerary offers spectacular views over the Ordino valley, the Redort mountain huts, and Casamanya.
To complete this circuit, take the secondary road CS-340 and, at km 3.5, you will find an area to park your vehicle (entrance to the Forat Fosc track, Ordino pass). From this point, begin the circuit by following the road about 600 metres downhill and, at the third right-hand bend, put on your snowshoes to follow a forest track.
After crossing a small stream, you will find a “Private property” barrier. Follow the path to the left of the barrier and, shortly after, continue along the trail following the stream.
Pass below the Redort huts (on the left) and continue across a footbridge. The slope increases until you reach the pond and rest area of Forat Fosc. Follow the flat forest track back to the starting point.

Precautions
The route involves no difficulties and no danger of slipping snow or avalanche.
Take care on days of snowfall and when the trees are very heavily loaded with snow (DANGER OF FALLING TREES).
