Route to the Forn

We leave the car park of the Vall de Sorteny natural park, towards the information booth and continue along the forest track (wide path), until we reach the "els Estripagecs" sculpture. Following the track, we reach Cap dels Graus, and if snow permits, we will find a metal fence. The Borda de Sorteny mountain refuge is a bit further on, following the wide path at all times. We continue a few metres behind the shelter, following to the left in a north-easterly direction, where we will gain elevation through the middle of the forest until we reach the Racó plateau. Be very careful from this point until we reach the gullies of the Oven, we will cross over the path of a great avalanche that may start to fall in conditions of extreme instability. After overcoming the most demanding last few metres, we reach the end of the route.
