Circular hiking route that starts and ends at the Puntal car park, at the entrance to the Sorteny Valley Natural Park. From this point, the route begins with a gentle descent of about 400 metres along the road until reaching the sign for the Camí de Besalí, which marks the start of the trail.
From here, the path gradually enters the forest, progressing through nature and silence until reaching the pla de Besalí. The route then continues towards the roc de Bruna Roja and the portella de Rialb, a natural pass that provides access to the valley of the same name and offers a new perspective of the landscape.
Once in the Rialb Valley, the trail follows the river that runs through it until the route crosses it via a bridge. Along this section, hikers pass the Rialb refuge and the font Freda, two emblematic spots that invite visitors to take a short break and enjoy the surroundings.
Finally, the path descends to the pleta de la Rabassa and, through meadows and mountain paths, gradually returns to the starting point, completing a circular route that allows visitors to discover different landscapes of the Sorteny Valley Natural Park.
