On 16, 17 and 18 June, the Andorra Iron Route will open its doors, offering residents and visitors the opportunity to discover, free of charge, one of the country’s most emblematic mining heritage sites: the Llorts Iron Mine.

During these special open days, participants will be able to explore the history of the iron industry, an activity that played a key role in Andorra’s economic development between the 17th and 19th centuries. The guided tour will provide first-hand insight into the mine’s tunnel and the process of extracting and processing the ore.

The activity is free of charge and opening hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
